The Legacy 500 is a mid-size business jet that was first flown in July 2017. It was launched, by Embraer, as a jet that filled the gap between the Phenom 300 and the Legacy 600.

The Legacy 500 measures 68ft 1in long, 21ft 2in high and has a wingspan of 66.5ft. The tail measures 24ft 1in.
The two Honeywell HTF7500E engines have up to 7,036lbs of thrust each and the Legacy 500 has a high speed cruise of 466kt. It has a range of 2,948 nm, although with four passengers it can travel 3,125nm: it’s able to fly coast-to-coast across the USA. It has a maximum operating altitude of 45,000ft.
The Legacy 500 features a Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics system which offers superior capabilities and functionalities. In the cockpit there are four 15.1” high-resolution display screens. Embraer’s fly-by-wire digital flight controls ensure unsurpassed levels of safety, performance and comfort.
The 6ft stand-up cabin is 27ft 6in long and 6ft 10in wide, with a flat floor, and has impressively low noise levels. Carrying two crew, it has seating for up to 12 passengers, including a side-facing sofa, with four that convert into fully flat berths. The cabin also comes with an equipped galley. The internal baggage compartment measures 155 cubic feet.
